How the two work
RenderDay renders on demand-provisioned NVIDIA RTX 5090 and L40S GPUs, with up to 48 GB VRAM per worker, and frames render in parallel across workers rather than one after another on a single machine. BlenderGrid renders on CPU only; by its own published comparison of render farms, it currently offers no GPU rendering and no EEVEE support.
Both services accept .blend files and ZIP archives. RenderDay supports Cycles and EEVEE across Blender 4.3 through 5.2. BlenderGrid supports Cycles only, with Blender support reaching back to version 2.77 and new Blender releases typically supported within about 24 hours.

Which one fits your job
Both cases, on one screen. If the answer is the other one, that is a better outcome than a refund.
Pick BlenderGrid if
BlenderGrid is the better pick for very old Blender files (claimed support back to version 2.77, against RenderDay’s 4.3 floor) and for exceptionally large uploads, though its own pages disagree on the exact limit (100 GB on the upload widget, 5 TB on the FAQ, against RenderDay’s 5 GB per file). It also has a longer public track record, founded in 2013, and publishes a specific list of pre-installed add-ons (True Terrain, Toonkit, Animation Nodes) you can check against your own scene.
Pick RenderDay if
For a job that needs GPU rendering or EEVEE, RenderDay’s difference is the render itself: GPU rendering (RTX 5090, L40S) for both Cycles and EEVEE, with one fixed price quoted before you pay. By BlenderGrid’s own comparison article, it is CPU-only, with no GPU rendering and no EEVEE support.
